Than you for reading my report, even if it was in french. Too bad about the mixed feed 🙁 I hope they will have the videos soon online, as I’d like to rewatch some of the lectures. The speakers had a lot of things to share, and sometimes you need a second hearing to get the most out of it 🙂 I was a little concerned about it being a users conference, but apart of the intro keynote, there was not a lot of marketing, and they even aknoledge they had to be better on some things. And it’s really easy to speak with the staff, so it was a nice conference. But not nice enough that I will fly over to Israel next year 🙂

I watched some of the live streaming until the problem with the soundtrack from one workshop overlapping the other came up. I also tried via their Facebook page but it would pause and not continue. I gave up after this.
I had considered going as I live in Luxembourg however, I received a 35 minute marketing call from MyHeritage around the same time which put me off. The marketer treated me like a beginner even after I tried to tell him of my 27 years experience and how I do my own research. Suffice to say I did not buy their subscription!
You made some good points about what could be done better. It was nice to read you came away with some good and pleasant things.

Pour te rassurer, je rejoins le commentaire d’Elodie ci-dessus, le live streaming était loin d’être parfait (problèmes de sons, vidéo qui reculait soudainement de quelques minutes, …)
J’ai hâte de voir les nouvelles estimations d’ethnicité de MyHeritage !

Pour tempérer d’ailleurs le streaming, nous avons été au moins 2 généalogistes à ne pas avoir pu suivre car le son des 2 ateliers en parallèle se mélangeait !
